Use our fruits as you wish, knowing them to be produced according to traditional methods and respecting our beautiful mother nature. Rest under the shade of our trees, pick a flower for your loved one or cook thy food directly from our virgin soil of organic vegetables and herbs. If you wish, please use our traditional wooden fired oven for a cooking experience or just use it as a fireplace for a lovely atmosphere. At the outdoors you'll find our multi-sports court where you can practice whatever sport you may wish while receiving sun during the day or playing under the stars at night. We'll provide you all accessories for every sport you wish. Spend some time at our gaming sallon with a view to Senhora da Paz or try to barbeque at our gardens surrounded by nature. Quinta de Santana is located in Vila Franca do Campo at the south centre of Sao Miguel. Its location makes it the perfect place to stay in order to visit the entire island, whether you decide to go East, North or West - we are at the South Centre, 4 minutes walk from the boat that takes you to the world-famous islet - Ilheu de Vila Franca. The beautiful chapel at the top of the Mountain - Senhora da Paz - is seen from Quinta de Santana and is only at 3 minutes drive or you can walk up the mountain for 15 minutes. Every major location in the island is near such as Furnas at the East with its lakes and hot thermal baths at only 20 minutes drive from our house. Sete Cidades, one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal is at the west of the island, at 30 minutes drive from Quinta de Santana. The mystic Lake - Lagoa do Fogo - at the north of the island is only at 20 minutes drive. Our south centered position makes it easy to visit the entire island. Also, the historic centre of our town with its churches, convents and potteries - only at 4 minutes walk. Vila Franca is known for its beautiful beaches and amazing sea shore, at 4 min walk from our house. Quinta de Santana is near everything yet giving you all serenity that nature provides.
