Description
Miller's Cottage is located next to our 16th century watermill and award winning tearoom (Hele Cornmill). Ideal for families : children can have a go at milling flour in the mill and have a go at counting the wooden mice and millstones. 5 min walk to Hele's dog friendly beach and a dog/family friendly pub serving good food. There are lots of walks from the cottage either on the South West Coastal Path or into the hills of Berrynarbor. The space The cottage is located adjacent to the 16th century working Cornmill and was converted from an outbuilding in the 1990’s. The whole cottage is your private space with kitchen, bathroom, and twin bedded bedroom downstairs and upstairs lounge and double bedroom. There is a small private patio overlooking the stream with a small table. The Teagarden and pottingshed are also available for guests to use privately when the Tearoom is closed (ie before 11am and after 5.30pm). Parking is in our private lane. Guest access The cottage is a 5 minute drive from Ilfracombe harbour and just 300m for Hele’s dog friendly beach. There is parking in our private lane. Less than 10 minute drive to the Tunnels Beaches wedding venue in Ilfracombe. Please note there are two steps down into the cottage. There is a ground floor twin bedded room and the bathroom is also on the ground floor. However there is a flight of stairs to the lounge and double bedded room. Other things to note We try to make the cottage comfortable for your holiday and provide essentials but do ask that you BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. Bathmats, teatowels and Bedlinen ARE provided. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the cottage. Dogs must be on a lead whilst on site. There are 3 electric car charging points at Hilsborough carpark by the swimming pool, just 1/4 mile away
