If you’re looking for adventure, our cabin is in a fantastic, centralized location to white water rafting, hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail, Smoky Mountain National Park, and Harrah’s Casino. Also enjoy the creekside nature path located on the property! Truly an ideal retreat anytime of the year. The space Our cabin has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms with showers (no tubs), and a fully stocked kitchen. The open living room features two reclining sofas, a wood burning fireplace, and a relaxing daybed with a twin trundle. The wrap around porch is furnished with a swing, four rocking chairs, and a propane grill. The creek below the cabin provides a fun nature path to walk along as well as many small waterfalls to enjoy. Sounds of the creek can be heard from any part of the cabin, especially from the rocking chairs on the porch. Located in a gated community, you’ll have the feel of a relaxing mountain retreat without compromising on safety. Just as a heads up, there are other houses within view when you’re sitting on the deck. The home next door is also a vacation rental. A washer and dryer are located in the basement of the cabin. (Must use outdoor stairs to access) Our cabin is peaceful, cozy, and perfect for spending quality time with your loved ones. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, gazebo on the stream, porch, and property. Other things to note Guests will receive an access code to enter the property and use for the duration of their stay. Access codes are invalidated upon check out. Because of safety concerns and neighborhood rules, motorcycles, motorbikes, scooters, mopeds, go karts, and other all terrain vehicles ARE allowed, but are NOT to be driven anywhere in the community due to steep, gravel roads. Guests can tow their motorcycle (or other above mentioned vehicle) on a trailer to the cabin and park it in the covered car park area, or it can be parked in the community clubhouse parking lot at the entrance to the community inside of the locked entrance gate roughly one mile from the cabin. All 2WD vehicles should have no issue making it to the cabin on the steep, gravel roads. If you plan to bring a trailer or are traveling during snowy or icy weather conditions, it is recommended that you have a 4WD vehicle.
