The space 1862 is at the foothills just 15 minutes from Heavenly Ski resort down the 207 grade in a peaceful quaint natural preservation area near historic Genoa. From the protected lands just in front of your porch deer may walk past you less than 15 feet away while you listen to geese and crickets in the background under the moon. A few years ago I invested an additional $7000 which upgraded my membership to the premium rooms. This particular room is quite larger than your typical little hotel room and you will receive free access to the separate natural mineral springs hot tubs and swimming pools gratis on me, which literally cost $55 each day to non-owners. First-class experience - coach price and very quick access to Lake Tahoe, Historic Carson City (which also has a few nice casinos and dining), or Reno NV (about 40 min. away)... or Golf and nature walks should you desire. Which of the three floors in the primary building that your room shall be is currently TBD, though definitely among the premium rooms in Bodie, and shall have either a nice patio on the first floor, or balcony view, with either facing the gorgeous natural preserve rather than the parking lot (and btw, please know that some offers out there give you a smaller room and parking lot view).
