Snowdrift Cottage at Springwell (Sleeps 4)

Located btw Cooma & Dalgety & only 45 mins to Jindabyne, Snowdrift Cottage is ideally situated as both a Summer & Winter retreat. The cottage is set in the grounds of historic Springwell & enjoys rural views over The Brothers. The cottage is open plan with electric & wood heater. TV, DVD, BBQ, library of books, games & movies. Outside there are large gardens to explore with abundant wildlife. Basic pantry items provided. Sealed road access. Ideal for singles, couples & small families. The space The property is surrounded by working sheep & cattle farms & is home to our horses. The cottage is set away from the main homestead yet close enough to enjoy the surrounding grounds. The owners reside on site & are available at most times should you require any assistance. The kitchen & laundry are fully equipped & basic cleaning products are provided. There is an adjacent garage available for wet snow gear or storage of sporting equipment. During Winter months there will usually be enough light kindling available for your first nights fire & plenty of pine cones for you to collect around the farm. Please pre order or BYO hardwood if you plan on spending some time in front of the fire. Additional firewood fee applies. Longer stays will need to purchase additional hardwood supplies in town or can pre order with host who will arrange supply to be delivered & stacked outside the cottage at cost. LGBTIQ Friendly. Whilst not advertised as pet friendly we will make some exceptions to this rule by application & prior approval only. (Please note that the cottage is not securely fenced & an additional fee will apply if pets are approved) Strictly No Smoking in cottage. Additional guests exceeding 2 must be declared. Strictly 4 adult guest maximum. Exceeding numbers may result in you being asked to vacate. The cottage is not suited to group bookings. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the property excluding any paddocks with closed gates. Access to the cottage is via the main Springwell gate. Other things to note We have 1 dog, Coconut a very small chihuahua. Please drive slowly around the property as the smaller dog is often hard to see. We also have 2 cats, Fluke & Trim. The animals may visit you at the cottage as they lived there for a time before moving over to the main house. Our horse Connor is very friendly, but please don’t enter his paddock as he can be overly exuberant at times. You are welcome to feed carrots & apples.
