Peaceful country setting with newly renovated home on a working grass-fed beef farm. Only 6 miles to the Barn on Stoney Hill and close to the Ice Age Trail. Wonderful getaway location for you and your family. Explore our beautiful local parks, lakes/rivers, breweries, wineries, cafes, orchards, and trail systems. Large 2-door shed available to park your vehicle, boat, bikes, ATVs or snowmobiles. Enjoy the cows and abundant wildlife. Farm tours available upon request! The space Welcome to your get-away! The home is tastefully decorated and fully furnished with everything you should need for your vacation. The open-concept kitchen, dining and living room are perfect for interacting with friends or family. There is a sleep number queen bed in one bedroom, two full size beds in the other and a very comfortable queen size pull-out in the family room. A large entry/mudroom can be used for coats, boots, snowshoes, skis, etc. The washer and dryer are located in a closet near the bedrooms. A TV, DVD player and Roku box are located in the living room with an assortment of DVDs. There are also many games and books to play and enjoy. There is no reliable source of internet available so please check your cell phone coverage if you wish to use your hot-spot. A fire pit, chairs and firewood are provided to enjoy outside. Pack n' play or other necessities for children also available upon request. If you see us coming and going to do farm chores once per day, please feel free to stop and ask questions about our cows or our regenerative farming practices, otherwise we will respect your privacy. Guest access You have access to over a mile of walking/snowshoeing trails on our property as well as many miles of quiet country roads nearby. For your safety we ask that you do not enter the pastures as the bulls may be out with the herd during certain times of the year and the fences will give you an electric shock. Sometimes the cattle may be pastured near the house for you to watch and enjoy and other times they may be out farther. A map of our property will be provided and we ask that you stay within our property lines. Other things to note We want you to enjoy your stay and we have done our best to provide a clean, healthy and comfortable place for you to relax. Our retreat is stocked with the standard amenities that you would expect during your visit. If we have forgotten anything or you have a special request, please feel free to let us know. We only ask that you respect our house, our property and our animals and that you do your best to leave the place as you found it. Cleaning supplies are available if you need them. Accidents can happen and we understand that, but we politely ask that you tell us promptly if something is damaged or broken so it can be fixed.
