In the oldest part of Antibes, 5 meters from the rampart and 25 from the covered food market, a town house with one room at each floor from cave to kitchen with three bedrooms in between and finally the panoramic sea and mountain view terrace on top. The space 3 Bedroom, In Between The Sea And The Provincial Market The house is situated in the oldest part of Antibes old town between the Remparts and the Provencal market and less than one minute walk to either. This historic and very quiet pedestrian street is steps from the Cathedral, the Mussee Picasso, cafes and bars. Nearby restaurants range from small bistros to those with a Michelin star rating. The yacht harbour and beach are a three minute walk. The house is a traditional seaside town house with French doors and Juliet balconies on the first and second floors. The foundations date back many centuries while the house itself is probably 150 years old. As you stand on the cobbled street near the entrance to the house the Mediterranean is a mere 30 metres away framed by traditional stone buildings. The view just gets better as you climb the steps to the dining area and then finally rewarded again by the magnificent panoramic sea view over terracotta tiles from the roof top terrace. On top of the cave with laundry, ground, 1st, and 2nd floor each have a sleeping room with respectively a sofa bed (140x200), a bunk bed (2x90x200), and a sofa bed (140x200). 3rd floor include the kitchen with dining space and stairs to the roof top terrace. All rooms are walk-through to get access to the other floors. Bath (shower, sink, and toilet) is at the ground floor while the 2nd toilet is at the 2nd floor. Even though all bed rooms are walk through, during night, both 1st and 2nd floor can access 2nd floor toilet without entering the other room. Ground floor has direct access to the new bathroom with toilet. The kitchen includes dishwasher, oven, ceramic plates, and a dining table that may fit up to 6 persons and sliding glass doors to the balcony with stairs to the roof top terrace. The terrace includes lounge furniture for two to lie down or 6 to sit. The house is newly renovated with respect for its Provincial style and decorated with new furniture. The kitchen is brand new and include high quality oven and ceramic plates. Air-conditioning and heating has been installed in 2013. The house easily sleeps 6 persons. The dining area is not suitable for 6 grown-ups, this will be tight, but is suitable for our family of two adults, two teenagers, and two children. The house does sleep 6 adults, but is best suited for up to 4 adults and two kids. Kids should be non-mobile infants or so old that they can handle the stairs. Stairs are a major part of the house. Remember, if you really need privacy, they also go through all sleeping rooms. Guest access The whole house. Other things to note Fully heated/airconditioned, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, and 4 plates, and dining space for 6 when the roof top terrace is not in use for dining.
