Cottage is operated with Solar/gas. Light and airy cottage nested on the foot of the mountain. The cottage opens up to a beautiful succulent rock garden. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. As a base, this one bedroom cottage is situated at the back of our family main house. The neighborhood is very safe, there are community cameras surrounding the perimeter of the cul-de-sac houses which are manned 24 hours as well as security cameras around the house. The space By following the path around the main house, you will be welcomed to a beautiful little cottage and outside area. Located on the slopes of the Karbonkelberg Nature Reserve, the cottage is in the back yard of our family home. With spectacular mountain views it opens onto a succulent garden with its own outdoor dining space and lounge area. The cottage is run of solar/gas (stove/geyser), therefore fully operational during powercuts and Wifi also still available during power-cuts/loadshedding. Nice and cozy in winter with a gas heater and electric blanket. The interior is an open plan style with a modern kitchen and lounge leading into a bedroom with a queen bed and a en-suite bathroom. Kitchen is equipped with a gas stove/oven, microwave, pots/pans, cutlery & crockery, everything needed to make your stay easy. Relax in the sun or take a leisurely stroll along the paths of the mountain slope directly from the back yard. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool. The swimming towels are in the bedroom cupboard. Other things to note You will be welcomed by 2 dogs, Holly & Finch. We strive to provide privacy to our guests. Because it is a family home, you will hear kids laughter & cries, dogs bark and movement on the property.
