Other things to note This is the oldest place in the island of Brač, three kilometers from the nearest beach. There is so much to see and learn from locals. This little village with less then 200 inhabitants has two great museums. the first on is a popular museum island of island of Brač, situated in the Radojkovic tower. It is built on the foundations of a Roman mausoleum, which are part of the famous' Cyclopean walls ', while part of the Illyrian walls can be seen in the courtyard of the museum. Legend has it that in the mausoleum buried Prisca and Valeria, the wife and daughter of the famous Emperor Diocletian. In the museum, you can see the number of Roman tombstones, altars, reliefs with Christian motifs, as well as items from the modern history of the Brač, such as chest, pictures, newspaper clippings, agricultural tools or furniture. The second one is the museum of oil that presents the traditional process of olive oil production on the island Brac. The museum of oil exhibit olive mill, olive press, spindle for tightening press screw, bags, fireplace for heating the water and all traditional tools for transport, production and storage of olive oil.
