The Haven and Summer Hoose are a cosy yet spacious cottage and quirky cabin that come hand in hand. The Haven cottage itself oozes charm with log burner and all the home comforts you could hope for. The Summer Hoose, a stunningly stylish cabin that’s the perfect place to retreat beside the fire, drink in hand and record player on. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets. The space The Haven cottage has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. It has 1 double bedroom situated up a spiral staircase and has a tv and fully stocked book shelf. The large spacious living area has a double daybed sleeping 2 guests , dining area and wingback chair all making the most of the log burner. Both TVs in the cottage have Amazon Firestick tv and guests may access their own Netflix accounts using the WiFi. The Kitchen is very well equipped with refrigerator, Bosch oven and gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. It is fully equipped with utensils and crockery. The shower-room is off the kitchen with complimentary toiletries (please note there is no bath in this property). The Summer Hoose is at the rear of the property with a patio area to the front for al fresco dining. The interior of the Summer Hoose is that of a luxury cabin retreat and has a large open plan living area. It has a small double sofa bed for additional guests and would allow for privacy if guests wanted to holiday together but stay separately. Complete with log burner, dining area and its own kitchen. The kitchen has a table top electric hob, wine cooler, kettle and toaster as well as all necessary utensils and crockery. It also comprises of a WC, utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board and complimentary washing pod and fabric softener. The Summer Hoose has the added extra of a Bush record player and great selection of LP’s. The Haven Cottage sleeps 4 comfortably and Summer Hoose sleeps 1-2 on small double sofa bed. Summer Hoose is located to rear of property over narrow lane. Both cottage and summer house have double glazing and LPG central heating. The property has a large private garden to the rear of the Summer Hoose with lawn, drying area and shed for bike or walking gear storage. Situated on the doorstep of the Galloway Forest Park the area is popular with cyclists and walkers alike with many trails and routes for all abilities. A mere 20mins from Turnberry Golf Resort and Culzean Castle Country Park. The West Coast of Scotland offers some of the most breathtaking views and fantastic tourist attractions and The Haven is the perfect place to stay to sample them.
