This house is 20 minutes east of Baltimore, yet you’ll feel like you’ve entered a different world. Take in the many sights and sounds of the bay from our huge wraparound deck, our 70-foot private dock, or explore the bay by kayak. Private, 70-foot dock with composite decking and seating area. (Please note, the water is very shallow and is not suitable for the safe docking of boats and other watercraft.) Truly a home for all seasons: endless outdoor activities, bird-watching (ospreys, blue heron, bald eagles, and so many more), boats of all sizes going by, sunrises, sunsets, stargazing, gleaming full moons, crisp fall days, and cozy winter scenes. Sparkling clean & well-stocked with luxury sheets, towels, toiletries, kitchen basics, paper products, cleaning products, sunscreen, and more (we’ll provide a full list of available supplies as your arrival date approaches). Climate control: heating and cooling via mini-splits on main floor; central heat and air conditioning on 2nd floor. All Bedrooms: Memory foam mattresses swathed in 550 thread count Supima cotton sheets; multiple pillows available for each bed in a variety of support levels; plush blankets; lavender chamomile linen spray for relaxation and a beautiful night of sleep. Bedroom 1: king-sized bed Bedroom 2: king-sized bed Bedroom 3: two twin beds Bathrooms: 2 full and 1 half. Full bath 1: Spa-like bathroom attached to master bedroom with soaking tub, spacious walk-in shower, and double vanity. Escape to a lavender-scented bubble bath, with a book and a glass of wine resting in our bamboo tub tray. Full bath 2: Located just outside bedrooms 2 and 3, with shower/tub combo and single vanity. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a basket of essentials in case you forgot something. Living room: water views galore, through sliding glass doors on to the deck and oversized windows; spacious desk for writing or working from home; comfortable seating; and a cozy gas stove. Enjoy our provided binoculars & telescope for bird and sky watching, listen to music on a pair of indoor/outdoor Bluetooth speakers, or sit down with any of our favorite books about the Chesapeake, travel, fashion, and more. Dining: Beautiful live-edge wood dining table inside, Polywood dining table on the deck, both seat 6, with stylish plates & glasses available for both settings. Kitchen: Gleaming quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, premium cookware & bakeware. Regular ground coffee provided with French press, Nespresso machine with an assortment of capsules, & a variety of teabags with convenient electric kettle. You’ll feel at home with thoughtful extras, from our collection of cookbooks, to stylish serving platters, to copper mugs for Moscow mules - the list goes on.
