Inside, it's all comfort: The cabin sleeps up to 6 across two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa — perfect for families or a group getaway. Firewood is located between the trees as you enter the property. 🏖️ Understanding the beach The beach here is tidal, which means the waterfront transforms throughout the day — and knowing the tides will help you get the most out of your stay. 🌊 High tide brings the water right up to the beach, making it perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming directly from shore. 🐚 Low tide pulls the water back to reveal a wide, walkable beach full of shells, sand dollars, and the occasional crab. Both are worth experiencing — they're just different adventures. Beach chairs are also available to relax put your feet in the sand or make a fort or sandcastle. Tides on Port Susan cycle roughly twice a day, so you'll typically get two high tides and two low tides in any 24-hour period. The difference between high and low here can be dramatic, sometimes 10 feet or more, so it's worth checking before you head down to the water.
