Welcome to Pen Barras Retreat, a private and relaxing oasis set in the middle of the Clwydian Range, half way up Moel Famau. Unwind in the peaceful Welsh Hills and explore the many trails just outside your doorstep(URL HIDDEN) Coming from mold you take the A494 heading towards Ruthin and turn right for Tafarn y gelyn after the loggerheads pub on your left. And garage on the right .Come along forestry road for about a mile ana half and we are opposite parking area of the forestry . This caravan contains two bedrooms with a large wrap-around deck, double glazing, gas heating and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has Tv a DVD player and wireless internet which can be temperamental as we are up a valley . The Caravan is located in a large 1 acre plot of land next to the home of Christine and Mike Roe, with secluded trees fencing you in for privacy but we’re just across the garden if you need us ! Guest access The Caravan is located in a large 1 acre plot of land next to the home of Christine and Mike Roe, with secluded trees fencing you in for privacy.Come thru the gate and bare right and you can park by the three steps onto the deck , Other things to note There are lovely walks opposite ,and little park with climbing frame and swings not far from the pub called the Druid with lovely food and great views .And the Market town of Mold is only a ten minute drive into town with a market on a Saturday and Wednesday .Llangollen is a thirty five min drive from here with a lovely river running thru it and great little shops and lovely walk on the bridge to see the river cascading thru the middle of the town and great to walk alongside to with lovely views of the surrounding hills and the horseshoe pass is not far from the town too with great hillside walks. Chester is also a lovely town to visit with a Roman wall to walk around and beautiful shops and lots of history to the place and a river around the back of it and pleasure cruises along it in the summer ,
