Rustic Retreat Suite

The suite with twin beds has a separate entrance at the left side of the Meeting Hall on the grounds of the Morgan Bay Zendo. The space includes a bathroom with shower & sink. A private compost toilet is next door adjacent to your suite. A full kitchen in the Meeting Hall is available for your use. We ask guests not to use alcohol or recreational drugs on the premises and that cooking be vegetarian. The space The suite is on the grounds of the Morgan Bay Zendo, an ecumenical meditation center located in Downeast Maine that offers an opportunity for people to practice meditation whatever their background or faith may be. All are welcome. Ideal setting for rest, reflection, & renewal. Guest access You may drive to the site from the Morgan Bay Road via Osprey Lane to unload when you arrive and reload when you leave. In between, please plan to park you car in the parking lot on the Morgan Bay Road and walk down the wooded path to your accommodations. Please bring a flashlight to light your way after dark. Guests may walk the grounds and enjoy the surrounding area which includes conservation land and a saltwater bay a short walk away. There are places to kayak, swim, and bike nearby. Acadia National Park is about 45 minutes away. During your stay The resident host living on the premises is your primary contact and is available to greet you when you arrive and answer questions during your stay.
