Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, an on-site washer/dryer, and parking for three cars in the extra-long, wide private driveway. Pelican Point guests relish the proximity to Galveston’s beautiful historical district, where you can explore the area’s old-world charm by walking, bicycle and/or golf cart. Pelican Point offers the best of both worlds: easy walking distance to beach access, the historic strand, seawall, Bryan Museum, UTMB, cruise terminals, and numerous nearby restaurants. Notably the highly rated Lucine's outdoor rooftop bar and grill views of the Gulf Guest access The whole house is set up and ready for your use. Home provides initial allotment of bathroom products/ paper towel roll and garbage bag for your convenience. A drip coffee machine AND Kurig are available. Kitchen has a 5-burner gas range and full assortment of pots/pans/cookie sheets/blender/toaster/air fryer/ utensils/wine refrigerator and many cooking seasonings are made available. Other things to note This home was originally built in 1901 and has the original bones but has been totally updated throughout with all of the amenities needed to enjoy today's comforts. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs and an upgraded mattress in the downstairs pull-out sofa plus one additional sofa for your comfort. Pelican point has three large decks and a full backyard patio with outdoor shower, Adirondack chairs/ lunch table/umbrella/chairs /natural gas AND charcoal grill. This gives you 4 inviting outdoor sitting areas to enjoy your island experience. One of Galveston's hidden treasured Porretto beach is within one blocksmaking your morning walk a must. As our guest, we have provided (through Porretto beach services) two FREE beach chairs and umbrella PLUS a parking spot if needed ($70/day value) We will provide you a pass to use upon arrival of house. Porretto beach, not Pelican Point, make these chairs available from Memorial Day through Labor Day and some weekends outside of high season weather permitted.
