Original detached house in a large garden

Many guests with children often spend whole days at the natural swimming lake. The lake is a 20-minute walk from the house. It is idyllically located between meadows and forest. Access is free. A kiosk offers various small dishes and ice cream, next door is a restaurant. For children, the castles and castle ruins of the surrounding area are also attractive: the Steinschloss ruins, the castle town of Friesach (20 km), the spectacular Hochosterwitz Castle near St. Veit (about 40 km). Further information ...... The space The house is located at an altitude of about 1,000 m. Therefore, it cools down at night even after great heat during the day. The thick outer walls keep the interior pleasantly cool. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the mountains to the south. The whole landscape is green. From the house there are many marked hiking trails that lead through meadows and forests. The Tonnerhütte is located at an altitude of 1,600 m. It offers a wide range of regional dishes. Sporty guests can hike from there to the Alm; the path to the Zirbitzkogel (2,400 m) leads to wonderful distant views. Rental bicycles are available in Neumarkt (about 9 km). There are also a variety of tours for mountain bikes. Otherwise, it is a very quiet area. Entertainment options are limited. Compared to tourist areas, the price level is low. Milk can be collected from the farmer (about 200 m) in the evening. Fresh trout are 2 km above the mills in Jakobsberg. The sheep farmer regularly offers wonderful lamb. Guest access Three bedrooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen are available for guests. Two private rooms are locked. The washing machine and a rotary clothesline for drying (outside) are located in the basement.
