Verbena Cottage. Relaxation, Tranquility, Privacy.

"Verbena" cottage is located near the village of ‘Razata’, very close to Argostoli the capital of Cephalonia. A perfect base for a holiday far from busy crowds and yet with easy reach to the most famous beaches and sight seen of the island. Distance from the airport: 15 min. drive Distance from Argostoli: 7 min. drive Distance from the nearest (outstanding) beaches "Makris Gialos" and 'Platis Gialos": 15 min. drive. The space Verbena cottage can host up to 5 guests. Ideal for nature lovers whether you are one or two couples, group of friends or couple with children and certainly for our adorable hairy friends. The cottage has been completely renovated in 2019 with modern techniques and material especially designed to provide a ‘Home from home’ accommodation. It has one double bedroom, a living room with 2 sofa beds (easily converted into a second bedroom by closing the door which is separating the living room from the kitchen), a large fully equipped kitchen, a hall way with a sofa bed (which comfortably sleeps 1 adult), a bathroom (with a separate invigorating power shower) and a small W.C. The living room and the kitchen open onto a lovely large fully furnished terrace surrounded by the greenery, trees and flowers. Silence is interrupted only from the noise of the countryside: the gizzards, the birds, the sound of the air passing through the leaves of the trees, the sheep bells. The garden is very well taken care of, just the type of place that invites you to relax in the terrace, to read a book, play games or enjoy a nice glass of wine. There is private parking in the grounds and the entire estate is securely fenced. Guests have free internet connection; also is possible to use a washing machine with no extra charge, in a shared outdoor laundry room (for stays longer than 7 days). Five minutes walk away from the cottage, you will find a mini market named 'Family' with all the necessary and one of the best, typical Souvlaki place of the island. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, private large terrace, front veranda and garden. Other things to note Check in is after 15:00 h . Check out is before 10:00 am. I will gladly accommodate different arrival and departure times to the best of my availability. Change of towels and bed-linen is once a week and cleaning of the property is upon departure. If you need extra cleaning during your stay, the cost of the cleaning lady is 10E per hour. INTERNET: There is decent internet connection with no charge for our guests. Please note that most probably our beloved kitty 'Luisa' will be at the estate during your stay. She is very friendly and calm. The pets of our guests are absolutely welcome of course.
