The space This bright, clean, nicely decorated 1200 sq ft home is a breath of fresh air for all your travel needs. An oasis in the middle of an urban setting. WORK: Well situated for remote working with wifi speeds of 940 Mbps, an additional booster for strong internet connection throughout the apartment, and plenty of options to set up your workstation. SLEEP: Two bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, cotton sheets, duvets and blackout curtains. Equipped with luggage rack, nightstands, lamps, closet with hanging space, shelves and built-in drawers, and reading chair for restful sleep and relaxation. LIVE & REJUVENATE: Spacious, comfortable living room is great for watching movies/shows (Netflix included), playing board games (provided), doing yoga, working on computers or artwork, curling up with a book and socializing with friends and family. BATH: The bathroom has everything you need from the shower to a bathtub, plush towels, hairdryer, towel racks, and overhead heater for those chilly mornings. FULL SIZE KITCHEN: Huge kitchen with 5-burner gas stove with oven, dishwasher, stainless steel sink, plenty of counter space, stacked refrigerator, coffee station, microwave, and loads of cabinets...this bright kitchen is a cook's dream. You will find quality utensils and striking orange dishes to make many delicious home cooked meals. WASH & DRY: The laundry is setup with a Samsung front loading washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and cleaning supplies. Guest access The entire private space is yours to enjoy, including the bedrooms, bath, kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry, and games. The backyard garden area with table and chairs is yours to enjoy, and you might even see or hear us occasionally as we tend to the plants or garden. The parking is exclusively yours and the lower yard is open to you if you'd like to play kickball, tag, or just have a place to run about. Great for kids! Other things to note There is a side driveway that you can use to unload your belongings directly in to the house for ease, but please park behind the house and access the entrance up the stairs. There is plenty of FREE parking space for everyone. If negotiating stairs isn't in your wheelhouse, the side entrance doesn't require use of stairs and can be used during your stay with prior arrangements. It's highly recommended to have a rental car for this area of Seattle. Our place is just out of reach for walks to the grocery store to be a viable option. Guests do use the bus system and car share, but have said renting a car is easiest and most cost effective mode of transportation. We live in the upstairs of the home and take care to be extra quiet and respectful of our guests. You will hear normal house sounds like water through the pipes, the furnace running, light footsteps, etc.
