Our spacious cottage studio has its own private separate entrance, with bath, full kitchen with all amenities! (no shared spaces). Located in mid-Willits, walk 2 short blocks to shops & restaurants. Gated entrance, quiet and peaceful, safe neighborhood, parking. Garden view patio. Utilities included (gas, electricity, water, trash, WiFi.) Lots of natural light, a sustainable lifestyle experience - a full kitchen, infrared heated water, and no-flush toilet. One level, with no steps. The space Garden View carriage house next to our 1923 Craftsman home, updated! Was built almost entirely of local wood; your studio has its own entrance. The room is a large 400 sq. ft. studio - screened bedroom with private bath and big full kitchen fitted for a chef! We provide a wonderful assortment of tea and coffee. FAST Internet wifi. Willits is the gateway to the redwoods, just north of the wine country and 1 hour to the Mendocino coast. We are located in the center of town within a short walk to everything local. Conveniently located between northern California places of great beauty, the coast, the forest, the redwoods! Escape the city and find peace and quiet in the village of Willits. Studio North is situated in a charming and quiet neighborhood. The street is wide and beautiful with a series of TALL redwood trees right out your front door. Lot of quiet, beautiful walking areas nearby. Orchard and herbal garden in your private area with a separate private entrance. Ample parking on our safe village street just outside your gate. The comfortable queen size bed is ready for your arrival, plus additional single bed can be added upon request. One floor, no stairs, notADA. Easy access from 101 and the downtown Willits live music scene, pubs, local shops...located right in town, 2 blocks from many restaurants. You are invited to pick grapes in season, and ask me about the other orchard trees as well. We have traveled for many years around the world and love to talk about distant and American adventures and travel. Our goal is to share the same hospitality we have found around the world. Brooktrails Golf course is just 5 minutes drive, you can play disc golf among majestic ancient redwoods. Visit the unique shops in the historical part of town just 2 blocks away, take a local tour of some private and amazing 420 agriculture in season, or curl up with a book under the grape arbor. In downtown Willits, within 5 minutes walk, there are cafés, shops, Skunk Train, a historical museum, live theater, hiking trails, and several lovely parks. There is always something to do and see in Willits. It is a friendly town, people stop to visit on the street. Centrally located for day trips around the area. Drive north to the massive redwood trees on the Avenue of the Giants, ride the famous Skunk Train, find wine tasting all around, or take a short drive to the Pacific Ocean and the quaint village of Mendocino. All these experiences are close by. The Neighborhood The west side of Willits is the oldest and historical area of our little valley. This beautiful section of town is a quiet place to stroll and admire the variety of architectural styles, from stately Victorians to charming Craftsman bungalows. It is a sweet pretty neighborhood a few minutes from downtown. Other things to note The no-flush toilet does not waste fresh drinking water with flushing. It is almost like a regular toilet - easy to use, and the wave of the future for you to check out today! Instructions for use are simple. I will explain further before or after booking.
