Exclusively for adults, this is a stunning loft-style open plan living space on one floor, accessed by a spiral staircase, so unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. Stone walls, beams, polished wood floors and contemporary furnishings give this property a gorgeous feel. With a wood-burning stove as heating, it is perfect for those cosy winter and Christmas getaways. The space Winter and Christmas in France is a wine and food-lovers' paradise. Wine fairs are held most months, and the Gastronomade's week long food and produce festival is held in Angouleme at the end of November. Beaujolais Nouveau Day is held on the third Thursday in November. The open-plan loft living accommodation means that the log-burner heats the whole space. There is a heated towel rail in the bathroom and an oil-filled radiator in each bedroom. One basket of wood per day is supplied in with the price. Any more can be bought from the owner as required, or can be bought from the local supermarkets. Other things to note Exclusively for adults only One bag/basket of wood is supplied per day. This should be sufficient to burn all day if used correctly. Additional wood can be purchased from the owner if required. The pool will not be open during winter months. It will re-open mid May.
