Step straight out of the front door and on to Staithes harbour side and beach! Harbour View is a quirky and charming Grade II listed cottage dating back to the 18th century, but with all mod cons. It is a cosy retreat whatever the time of year with a mix of underfloor and thermostatically controlled heaters plus open fire on ground floor. Free Wi-Fi access. Stones throw from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and cobbled High Street and all the local shops. The space Ground Floor – open plan kitchen/dining/living room with tiled floor throughout with underfloor heating and open fire. Sofa and two armchairs; TV, DVD, Bluetooth music player. Dining table with seating for 4. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. To the rear of the ground floor is the shower room with walk in shower, WC and sink; underfloor heating and heated towel rail. First Floor – Bedroom 1: double bedroom with chest of drawers and lovely harbour views to the front. Bedroom 2: small double (queen sized bed) bedroom also with chest of drawers and those lovely harbour views. Bedroom 3: single bedroom to rear with cliff view; half height wardrobe/chest of drawers. House bathroom with slipper style bath/hand held shower, sink and WC and heated towel rail. Outside – small yard area to the front of the cottage with bench from which to enjoy the amazing view of Staithes harbour. Guest access Parking is available outside for unloading only, with the main car park being a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage. We provide one parking permit when charges apply March to October inclusive. The easiest way to travel to Staithes is by car and you can approach from the north via Teesside on the A1/A19 and A174 or from the south on the A64/A169 via Whitby and then along the coast on the A174. Travel via train is also possible and there are mainline stations at Whitby and Saltburn and a good Arriva bus service between Middlesbrough and Whitby.
