Tiff was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The shared home in Ireland was fully equipped to safely support anyone who required complete accessibility. Tiff loved that vacation. When my daughter passed in 2017, I decided to continue her passion to help others with conditions requiring full accessibility. Four years later, Tiff's dream became our reality when I designed and built Tiffs Place--A 4 bedroom/4.5 bathroom, fully accessible home that can be enjoyed by anyone looking for the perfect vacation near Orlando Florida. Tiffs Place is conveniently located right beside Orlando, a short drive from both major Orlando airports, near the 10 major theme parks, hundreds of smaller amusement areas, a short trip to the beach yet in a quaint, private Florida setting perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. You can rent the entire home and have it all to yourself or simply rent a bedroom or two and share the living room, kitchen and pool area with other guests. Each bedroom you rent has its own private bathroom, is large enough to sleep four and includes the mechanical devices that allow free mobility from a wheelchair into a bed or into the bath/shower without requiring further assistance. The bedrooms all have exterior access so you don't have to enter through the common room and can safely egress in the event of an emergency. Of course, you're welcome to stay in Tiffs Place even if you or your loved ones don't require any special help. The kichen has a spectacularly modern set up that allows the sink, stove and cabinets to be raised and lowered to a height that works for anyone as well as an oven door that can be rolled under the oven when opened. Even the pool features a wheelchair entry, large spa and enormous deck for you to soak up the Florida sun. Whether you require all the assistance, like my daughter Tiff did, or you just want an overly large home with a great pool for you and your loved ones to enjoy your next vacation, Tiff would be honored to know that you are enjoying her "Place" in memory of our love for her.
