Beachwood on Robberg - short stroll to the beach

Large luxurious family holiday home bordering the Robberg nature reserve (World Heritage Site). Two minute stroll to the pristine Robberg Beach. You’ll love the large double-volume lounge and dining room which leads onto a deep covered verandah with a 180 degree view of the bay. Our home is designed for relaxed long lazy family lunches in the shade of the verandah next to the salt water pool soaking up the sun while listening to the waves and the chirp of birds. Sleeps 12 in 6 en-suite bedrooms The space The veranda, cooled by overhead fans, is ideal for outdoor living and dining. Caribbean umbrellas provide shade on the open part of the verandah, while weathered wooden loungers are the place to work on your suntan. The built in gas braai ensures no-one is left out while cooking. A few steps lead onto the garden and refreshing saltwater pool. The house is designed for large long family meals. The kitchen/server area is in the open plan lounge. A separate preparation kitchen adjoins the walk in cold-room, with a dedicated washing up/laundry area. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and present what families want on holiday The house is serviced, Mon - Fri (8am - 4pm). This is included in the daily rental. If there are more than 6 guests, an extra staff member will be provided. Guests to supply breakfast, lunch and basic refreshments for staff. There is a weekly garden and pool service. Main bedroom is on the ground floor, extra length king bed, en suite bathroom and dressing room with bath, indoor and outdoor showers. Washed wooden floor, overhead fan, opens onto verandah extension. Bedroom 2 upstairs, king bed, en suite bathroom and dressing room with bath and shower. Bedroom 5, ground floor access from enclosed entrance courtyard. 2 extra length single beds, en suite with bath. White screed floor, overhead fan. Bedroom 6, upstairs access from enclosed entrance courtyard. 2 single beds (can be joined together), en suite with shower. Screed floor, overhead fan, opens onto balcony overlooking entrance courtyard. Guest access Laura the house manager and/or Thandi will meet you on arrival and give you keys and gate/garage access remote controls. They will show you around the house and explain how things work. Other things to note The house is in a secure estate of 12 homes with security personnel patrolling the area. It is recommended that guests activate the house alarm when retiring to bed at night. The alarm is linked to a control room and the roving vehicle in the area. It is not necessary to activate the alarm when leaving the house during the day, provided a staff member is there.
