Enjoy a very special holiday in a haven of quietness! This 110m2 barn will stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter thanks to thermal insulation works completed in 2022 :-) On the edge of the Arjuzanx Reserve, where you can swim and practice nautical activities in the summer, and watch the crane migration in winter... The ocean beaches (Mimizan, Contis, Lespecier...) are 45min away by car. The space In the heart of the Landes forest, a wooden barn converted into a loft awaits you. On this 110 m 2 ecological lodge, you'll find: two bedroom "zones" with 1 double bed (140) and a convertible sofa (140) a bathroom with shower and bathroom sink, a large living room with a wood-burning stove and a convertible sofa (140), a fully equipped kitchen area (fridge-freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, etc.). Please note that the toilet is an ecological COMPOST TOILET, which is accessible from the inside of the barn and is easily managed with sawdust (zero smell ;-) Our barn will provide you peace and quietness to relax and reconnect with nature. Numerous walks or bike rides are possible on the forest paths that surround the house. You shall use the tennis court in the village (800m from the house). On the practical side, the village's organic bakery will allow you to taste bread, delicacies and pizzas twice a week. Small local market on Tuesdays in the village. Many local and/or organic markets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will be a 5 minute drive from the small shops of Ygos Saint Saturnin and Arengosse; Cafe-grocery association and Écolieu 10 minutes away. The ocean beaches are 45 minutes away (Mimizan, Contis, etc.) Ecomuseum of Marquèze - educational farm 20 minutes away. Dax (thermal-spa town) is 30 minutes away Mont de Marsan is 30 minutes away The Basque coast (Bayonne, Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz...) is only 1 hour drive away, also easily reachable by train Spanish border: 1h30 drive. Dune du Pyla and Bassin d'Arcachon : 1h15 ( by car or by train ) Bordeaux, Unesco World Heritage Site, 1h30 away (by car) or 1h away by train. 1 barbecue and 2 adult mountain bikes will be at your disposal. Also wooden hut and trampoline for children. Guest access You will reach our "airial" by driving up a pebbled path at the exit of the village, between pine forest and cornfields. Other things to note Baby equipment (baby bed, plastic bathtub, high chair) at your disposal for free. Possibility to rent bedsheets with an extra charge of 12€ per bed (except summer season). Possibility to organize a cleaning service with a supplement of 75€ if you don't feel like cleaning the house before you leave.
