Come home to The Farm House at Jewel Hill Farms, nestled on our +/-120 acre working farm. We are privately located at the end of the paved road. This awesome three bedroom house has (The “Tower” Master Suite has a awesome king sized extra comfy bed, The Twins Room has a set of twin sized beds, the Cordwood bedroom has a awesome comfy king sized bed as well). This house boasts a full farm kitchen with all modern amenities (microwave, coffee pot, toaster, large refrigerator, silverware, plates, glasses, pots and pans, and grill. The house has one large bath (walk in shower) with washer & dryer. We have Super Fast Fiber Internet and have had several folks come and work from the farmhouse and were delighted with how much faster our connection is. Enjoy mornings on the porch overlooking the Big Pine valley. There are 360° views to enjoy with your morning cup of coffee or maybe relax in the hammock lying under the stars. Finish out the day enjoying your favorite beverage listening to the orchestra of frogs as they sing just for you in the Glenn below. Watch as the lighting bugs give a private dancing light show like none seen before. The Farm: Life is old here, older than the trees, younger than the mountains.....Growing like a breeze. Yes country roads will bring you home.....Home to Jewel Hill Farms. The Farm House at Jewel Hill Farms is a 9th Generation Scotch/Irish working family farm. Guests may, if they decide, take a self-guided tour of our farm. Our animals include a pair of imported black Friesian horses from the Netherlands, Imported English Jersey dairy cows that we milk, our apiary that we produce honey from using our black & yellow bees, chickens for eggs and meat, ¼ acre catfish pond, 2 barn cats, and 2 Catahoula Mountain dogs for companionship and livestock protection. Take a walk through our 2 acre orchard (apples, peaches, cherries, plums, pears, almonds, persimmons, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and grapes). Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and surrounding 100 acres of rural pristine farmland! The Farmhouse is not childproofed. Children must be supervised inside the house as well as outside around the farm. Our farm is for our family, our personal guests, and our registered Airbnb guests. It's time to forget the crowds......enjoy the silence. We want you to "Turn On, tune in and Drop Out". Come Forest Bath in our nearby national forests and trails...be sure to check out all trail's app for all the beautiful hiking available. Please do not plan to entertain additional folks at Jewel Hill Farms during your stay unless pre-approved. No professional or commercial recording, filming, or photography without our advance knowledge and approval. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the safety of any animals, including service animals. Always disclose a service animal before arrival at Jewel Hill Farms. Please remember this is a real working farm and we strive to maintain the balance on our farm. Other things to note Local farm products (When In Season) available for purchase-- farm fresh eggs, honey, berries, and other local food. Must climb stairs – Entrance & to second floor bedroom. Please respect our farm and land, animals and property as we would like to continue sharing this gorgeous space with many people to come. This is a vacation for you; but it's our home which we gladly want to share it with you. No smoking in the House or pets (we have a balance we try to maintain on the farm and outside pets or animals tend to upset that balance). We have so much gratitude for this property and when you visit you'll understand why we have for 7 Generations called it home! When you visit the farm you will see all kinds of wildlife......rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, foxes, deer, wild turkey and the occasional black bear that roam these mountains we call home!
