Our Hale is an upstairs apartment that is centrally located for your next trip to the Gulf coast! We are 20 minutes N. of Corpus Christi, 20 minutes S. of the popular town of Rockport and 20 minutes W. of the ferry to Padre Island! It sits on a peaceful 5 acres and has a covered Lanai ( Hawaiian word for covered deck) that overlooks 3 acres. A great place to see a beautiful sunrise and enjoy your morning coffee or spend the lazy afternoon hours sipping refreshing beverages & just talking story Our “Relaxing Hale” is Darlene’s home away from home. Darlene is from Kauai and feels that the Southern Hospitality she has experienced here in Texas is much like the Aloha Spirit back home. The Hale is decorated with and island feel and beautiful pieces from Kauai. She would like you to feel the Aloha as she has felt Southern Hospitality! When you walk into this upstairs apartment through the French doors, you will enter into the living area that has recently been completely renovated! It has an open concept. It is bright with a generous amount of natural light and has a beautiful vaulted ceiling. There is a large ceiling fan, flat screen TV, dry bar, office space with WiFi all for your enjoyment. There are two loveseats and both electronically recline. Both are equipped with USB plugs and drink holders. We want you to be comfortable and be able to “Just Relax”. It is a two bedroom, 1 bath unit. Both bedrooms are very spacious. You’ll sleep soundly with the black out drapes, ceiling fan and queen size beds in both rooms. Both rooms have their own flat screen TV, lots of hangers and extra linens. The bathroom shared between the two rooms has a large walk in shower, hair dryer and plenty of towels. Our sweet retreat is sure to please. Prepare you favorite foods in the fully stocked bright white kitchen. It has an incredible deep rich granite counter/bar with ample counter space! It makes an inviting stage for whipping up culinary creations! While your dinner simmers perch yourself at the kitchen bar that has seating for four! The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, stove with oven, toaster, blender, crockpot and coffee maker. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Relax on the balcony with outside dining when dinner is ready! There are french doors leading right from the kitchen! We have a laundry room located at the bottom of the stairs for your convenience. It is equipped with a washer, dryer, ironing board and iron. It is also air conditioned for your comfort. Out back you will find a smoker for barbecuing burgers or your catch of the day! We live in the main house and want to share that we are readily available for any questions or concerns you may have. We will do our best to provide you with timely, helpful communications regarding your trip to the coast. Our rental is in a very quiet area and just a walk away from the Whitney Lake Marsh Wildlife Refuge. A great place to sit and watch wildlife and see a beautiful Texas sunset! We are in the country but only about a 2 miles from downtown Ingleside. House is fully equipped with all you should need. Minimum age of primary renter must be 25. We only allow a maximum of 4 guests per stay. There is a $85 cleaning fee
