Guest access Megalochori has a regular bus service that connects visitors to other areas of the island.The bus stop is 300 meter away from the apartment to the south exit of Megalochori and the bus schedule is every half an hour from 6:00 am to 23:00 pm. The ways to come from the airport or port to Megalochori are the following: a) We may arrange a transfer from the airport or port to pick you up .The Bus driver will be waiting for you at the exit holding a sign with your name on it. The cost for a private transfer is 30 Euro from the airport or 30 Euro from the port per way for 2 persons. b) If you wish to rent a car, we can arrange that as well. A person from the car rental company will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport or port and he will be holding a small sign with your name on it. (Complimentary parking is available 24/7 next to the apartment) c) You could also catch the bus from the airport or port but there is no always direct bus to Megalochori. You need to go first to Fira and then change bus to Perissa and in approximately 45 minutes you will be in Megalochori. You need to inform the driver to make a stop at third bus stop of Megalochori opposite Ampelonas Apartments. Tickets can be bought on the bus.Then you have to walk for 300 meters towards Megalochori Elementary School and Main Parking Area.
