Inside, you’ll find two queen bedrooms, thoughtfully designed to give every guest a restful night’s sleep after a day exploring the mountains. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook and gather. Just bring your groceries and settle in. Whether you’re enjoying a slow morning coffee or preparing dinner together, the open, functional layout makes it easy to connect. In the living space, a wood-burning fireplace creates the ultimate cozy atmosphere. Firewood is provided, so you can unwind with a fire after a day outdoors. Step outside and the experience continues. The spacious deck offers beautiful views and is the perfect place to relax, dine, or simply take in the fresh mountain air. Lounge on the outdoor couch, enjoy meals at the dining table, or soak in the private hot tub under the stars. The property itself offers room to roam, with land to wander and explore right outside your door. In the warmer months, gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories. In the winter, take advantage of the snowshoes for a peaceful walk through the snowy landscape. Guest access The home is fully accessible. The garage is available for playing ping-pong, darts, board games, corn hole, snowshoes, and more! Other things to note Cautionary Notes (Please Read)! We do NOT accept check-in or check-out on holidays. Absolutely NO open fires are allowed. The risk of wildfire in the area is too high. You will be asked to leave immediately if there is any fire activity. The roads require 4WD for November through April (however it can snow in October and in May!). The roads are plowed after 6 inches of snow. You do not need a 4WD or AWD in the summer but be aware that the dirt roads in the neighborhood are bumpy! Pets This is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify. At this time, we only allow dogs in this house. Please message us before booking for our pup policy to see if your dogs qualify. There is an additional fee for bringing a pet to cover the cleaners’ extra time to keep the space fresh for future guests. There is no air conditioning unit here. It is very rare in our county to have one installed in a house (even brand-new builds!).. The nights are cool in the summer, so to cool the house off, you can open all the windows at night, then close them during the day, and you stay cool! Fans are provided to help blow the cool air through the cabin. We are at 9,400 feet in elevation — altitude sickness can occur but you can do things to prevent it and alleviate symptoms including, taking a day to rest when you arrive, drink extra water and stay well hydrated (avoiding alcohol will help).
