Putara Base Camp

Putara base camp feature a fully equipped kitchen, an open plan living area and dorm style sleeping area (6 beds are on the mezzanine floor, access is only by a ladder) with a capacity of 10 guest. You also have the option to pitch a tent. A separate ablution block with 5 showers and toilets. Nice big fenced grounds for the kids to play and have their little adventure. The Tararua forest park offers beautiful bush walk and is located 5 minutes down the road and great swimming holes nearby. The space There is a super king bed down the bottom, 6 single beds and a double bed on the mezzanine floor that is accessible by ladder. Mind your head as the ceiling is a bit low up top. Other things to note All dog must be Drontal at least 48 hours prior to arrival. This is the law, being a rural area, and needs to be respected to protect the welfare of the livestock around the property.
