Studio "Säntis"

The studio “Säntis” is located in the listed Oberhaus on lake Zurich. Since 2021, the elegant wine-grower’s house from 1743 houses a B&B. The studio is located on the first floor on the north-east side of the building and consists of two rooms, a bathroom and a toilet. It is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. Breakfast and sauna can be booked. Shared use of the private access to the lake is included. Parking is included, the train station is 5 min. away from the accommodation. The space The studio is located on the first floor on the north-east side of the historic Oberhaus with a view over the court towards lake Zurich. It consists of two rooms, a bathroom and a toilet. In the front room, there are two single beds, which can also be used as sofas, and a table with two chairs. In the back room, there is a double bed with separate frames and mattresses and double bedding. A refrigerator is available for guests in the hallway. The studio is suitable for a maximum of four adults. The bathroom and the toilet were built in the thirties and carefully refurbished in 2021. Bed linen and bathroom towels are included, as well as sauna textiles. Breakfast can be booked as well. It is served in the garden seating area in summer and in the former wash house in winter. There is also a sauna in the winter months and a rowing boat in the summer months. Guests may also use the private lake access. It's a good place to take a dip in the evening. The access is not suitable for non-swimmers or children and adults who are not yet safe swimmers. For such, the public bathing facility in Feldbach is recommended, which is a 10 min. walk away. A car park is available in the courtyard. In addition to their private rooms, guests have a number of lounging areas at their disposal, for example the south-facing loggia balcony on the first floor or the gravel area in front of the washhouse, both with a fantastic view. Guest access The studio is part of the B&B Oberhaushof, which is located on the two lower floors of the Oberhaus. You reach the Bed & Breakfast via the garden and an outdoor staircase. The hosts live on the property, but only the guests of the Bed & Breakfast stay at the Oberhaus. During your stay We are happy to welcome you in person if possible and are also available to answer any questions you may have. Other things to note The studio is equipped with a Beanarella capsule machine (with compostable capsules) and a kettle. We are happy to offer you a buffet breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room in the garden of the B&B Oberhaushof. This costs CHF 16 per person. Children below 12 years pay 50% together with adult guests. We offer this from 08:00 to 10:00 - other times on request. If you are interested, just approach the hosts! In winter breakfast is served in the old washhouse. The studio in the listed Oberhaus is suitable for adults and families with children from the age of 8. Since 2023, we offer a publicly accessible charging station for electric vehicles at the Oberhaushof.
