Description
Welcome to your special caravan hut! (caravan with wooden hut around it). If you come as a guest, you will share the property with its residents (Hans and Indi) and possibly with guests and people who come to do an initiation to adulthood! Marvel at the history of the site and let yourself be carried away by the story that Hans and Indi like to share about the ruins; with now a habitable house in the former barns, which served as a glass factory, forges and eventually a farm. The space The caravan hut has a stone staircase to the entrance. The caravan hut consists of 2 sections, a sitting/working area and a sleeping area and has a nice veranda. The accommodation is about 20 meters from the Open Kitchen where you can cook (4 euros per day) and where often nice interactions with other guests arise! Guest access On the premises, you can use the brand new bathroom (2022), the common room, the Walled Garden, all kinds of nice places, a "dip" in the stream (maybe after your clay bath?), the campfire spots, the Open Kitchen (4 euros per day) and even, in consultation, the workshop if you suddenly feel like making something nice from e.g. wood! Guests are actually welcome anywhere on the property, except our own house and our private garden. Very rarely, the Walled Garden is closed for certain sessions/ceremonies. Unfortunately, the terrain is not really suitable for people in wheelchairs or people with mobility problems. In those cases, you’ll need to contact us. We do a lot together here, in the flow that suits you! During your stay Hans and Indi live permanently on the property, along with their cats and chickens. Everything is negotiable and co-creation is very welcome! Upon arrival, you will receive a tour or tour map and instructions, there is much to tell about the site and our initiation work towards adulthood. Due to the communal nature of the site, spontaneous conversations arise around campfires, or fun workshops by guests. Welcome! Other things to note SHARING, OUR PHILOSOPHY We not only like to share our place, we also like to share joint responsibility. It is therefore very much appreciated if everyone thinks and works together to keep the place as pleasant as possible and to reduce costs as much as possible so that our prices can remain as low as possible! One of those ways is that we are an association. And although it is not mandatory, we would greatly appreciate it if you would like to join our association for only ten euros a year. Upon booking, you will receive a comprehensive document with more information, which we hope will convey our atmosphere of sharing, being together, and letting things happen spontaneously!
