The apartment is located just behind the iconic Hallgrim's church - walk to the church and you will be in the center of Reykjavik. Walk straight ahead and you are in the heart of the city or go right and you will be heading towards the sea and will cross 2 shopping / restaurant streets on your way. There is paid parking in the street outside the apartment, but free parking in the parallel streets. Opposite the apartment there is a parking lot where parking is free in parts of the area. You have to be attentive and check whether you are in the free part of the parking lot or not :)
