Leura Blue Mountains Heritage Garden Cottage

Fiddler's Green Cottage is walking distance to Leura village. Afternoons in the enormous garden having a Bbq with the birds or a walk to any one of the beautiful vantage points. Fiddlers Green is comfortable, couches, beds to snuggle up in, or sitting nooks in the garden. Front balcony is a sunny spot for lunch. Fire pit for a wine and chat in the back yard. Walking tracks are close to the house or a short drive to National Parks. For summer an adventure to the waterfalls or lake. The space The cottage, built in the 1890s, has white tung and groove walls, original floorboards and a simple kitchen and bathroom with shower. The house is Heritage listed as are the trees in the garden. I have tried to maintain the simplicity of the cottage. The original owner was a writer. She sat in the front garden writing most days. There are plenty of towels, super comfortable beds, linen and pure cotton or bamboo bed sheets and covers. The house has gas heating and an open fire, wood supplied. The Smeg cooker has a gas cooktop and a Fan Forced oven. All the basics are supplied: oil, sugar, tea, coffee, salt, and pepper, and other pantry needs. Our home products are natural and/or organic including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwashing, and laundry detergent. Bathroom is small and functional, modern shower head with a hand held shower piece to wash children. There is Wifi and a Smart TV. Light the fire and watch whatever you wish, or read! We are also pet-friendly and fenced. Out in the garden, we have a firepit for day or night, a Webber BBQ, outdoor table and chairs, games such as croquet, badminton, and boules to be enjoyed on the grassed lawns of the property's 1000sqm of grounds. The birdlife in the garden is lively. Guest access The whole house and garden are available for Guests. There is ample free street parking directly outside the house. It's also possible to open the gates and park off-street. We ask that you bring your dog's bedding. We charge an additional $30 fee for dogs if there is dog poo left anywhere, or dogs have been on bedding or on couches. It makes for extra cleaning, with a knock-on effect. Please ask if you are going to bring a dog. Please feel free to take home fresh herbs from the garden, Rosemary, Bay Leaves, Oregano, Thyme, Mint, Strawberries (you have to be quick, or the birds get them) Registration Details Exempt
