Luxurious Provençal old farmhouse dating from 1860, surrounded by a lush french garden with olives trees, lavender and roses. The space Downstairs is the living room, piano room/library and vast kitchen with dining table. The magnificent, light-filled provencal kitchen is the centre of the house and all life revolves around it. The kitchen combines age-old charm with modern convenience: dishwasher, two fridges, large oven, 4 gas burners and a hot plate, microwave. Next to the kitchen is the laundry room with washing machine. There are 6 bedrooms sleeping 10 people, and 4 bathrooms. There are 2 double bedrooms, one triple room, and 3 singles, with one of the doubles and bathrooms downstairs. The ravishing master bedroom is an enchanting place with dual aspect and a vast bed, 2.1m wide (6ft 11"). There is TV with French channels, plus a DVD player, and also free wireless high-speed internet. Guest access The house is a treasure trove of antiques and collectables, evidence of my passion for beautiful objects. Despite the sheer tastefulness of every room, this is a very relaxed and relaxing house to stay in. As much as possible the downstairs rooms open onto the garden through large french windows, which also serve to flood the house with light. Other things to note There are 2.5 acres of land, planted with lavender, cypress, olive and fruit trees. At the front of the house is a formal garden with clipped hedges and walls, roses and santolina, with a an ancient plane tree shading the terrace. To the side of the house is the pool which is 10m x 4m (33 x 13ft) and with its lines of box balls follows on the theme of the formal garden. The pool has roman steps at one end and a pool alarm for security. Beyond the pool is a large lawn, and in the middle a stone fountain feature with large terracotta urns and oleander. There is a second smaller water basin by the house.
