The Shed Retreat is a sacred space for anyone looking to shed their worries, fears, and busy schedules. Once a home for goats located in a secluded area on our property, it is now a peaceful garden oasis among the trees for those seeking a break from the norm. Inside, you can enjoy a cozy and relaxing place to lounge or rest. Outside, you can spend time around the fire pit, collect fresh eggs for breakfast, kayak on a nearby river, bike to local ice cream shops, or take a nap in a hammock. The space - The shed is HEATED by a good space heater. Guest robes and throw blankets are also provided for guests to curl up in. - WINTER WEATHER NOTICE: There is a sink inside the shed that functions using water containers and a foot pump. This sink is available year round. The indoor camping toilet is also available during the colder months. - HOT INDOOR SHOWER available at Strauss-Peabody Aquatics and Fitness Center located 6 min away ($6 fee gains access to shower and pools/hot tub/sauna OR access to shower and fitness equipment). - 2 CAMPING TOILETS are available for use (one outside in the "bathroom" area and another is available for inside the shed if you desire it). -Refrigerator, microwave, electric skillet and some cooking supplies are available in the adjacent garage - WARM OUTDOOR SHOWER and a sink are available just steps from shed (not available once freezing temperatures hit). - Coffee bar and bottled water provided. *Check-out time is 11 am Other things to note We are a 5 minute drive from Manchester University and a 25 minute drive from Grace College and Huntington University.
