Spacious bedroom with ensuite in Porlock, Exmoor

A private bedroom and bathroom in an 18th century character cottage refurbished to high standards. Shared access to the kitchen to prepare your own breakfast. Private, off-road parking. Friendly, short-haired cat lives in the property, so no dogs allowed and not recommended for guests with strong cat allergies. The space The bedroom is spacious, light and airy, with a vaulted ceiling and a skylight. There is a comfortable chair for lounging. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, if you don't feel like going down to the kitchen right away! The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, toilet and hand basin. Guest access The private bedroom and bathroom is upstairs. Guests are welcome to prepare and eat their own breakfasts in the downstairs kitchen. Access to the upstairs is through the kitchen. A washer and dryer is available for guests who stay for a minimum of one week. During your stay We are a friendly couple (with an equally friendly cat) with lots of local information to provide our guests, but are also mindful of their privacy. We will ensure your stay is trouble-free. Other things to note The house is set in a wooded river valley along a dead-end road less than a 5 minute walk from the high street. There are footpaths just outside the front door, connecting to some of the best walks in Exmoor.
