Charming seaside cottage in Treknow North Cornwall

Our cottage is a 200 year-old two-storey semi-detached house surrounded by open fields with beautiful views and direct access to the footpath to the beach at Trebarwith Strand. Over the years we've carefully restored the cottage to produce a calm, restful retreat (and a second home for us). The space The cottage has immediate access to the surfing beach at Trebarwith Strand; it's an easy 10-minute walk down the marked footpath that passes directly in front of the cottage. It's warm and cosy in all Cornish weathers with effective heating (if you need it, it's free), with the main windows double-glazed. In addition there’s a welcoming open fireplace you can get going (wood and coal available locally). The kitchen has all the equipment you need. There's a fridge with frozen food compartment and a microwave for quick meals. You'll also find a toaster, an espresso machine (for those wanting decent strong coffee) and plenty of cooking equipment, china and glasses. There's a large pine dining table that sits 6 people. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms one with a comfortable double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe space, bedside tables and lights. The second bedroom has two single beds again with bedside tables, lights, a chest of drawers and a hanging space. This room has a cupboard containing the hot water tank (no charge for hot water). The bathroom has a bath with a shower over the bath+glass screen, a toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. There's an outside toilet with a washbasin and shaver point. Outside the front door is a washing line (and a prop kept indoors). Guest access You have exclusive use of the entire property (approximately 700 ft²) with your own front door key, allowing you to come and go as you wish. There's an allocated off-road parking space for 1 car. Other things to note The cottage is close to excellent pubs; one, The Mill House Inn, is a few minutes' walk. The other, The Port William, is next to the beach (10 minutes' walk). A mile away is the village of Tintagel with grocers (open long hours every day), , chemist, free cash machines, cafés and coffee shops, takeaway food and souvenir shops.
