Indoor Charms and Entertainment Extravaganza: Step into our large, well-equipped kitchen that opens to a dining area, complete with a separate pantry and utility space. For those with a culinary passion, explore our adjoining study housing a collection of 1000(!) cookery books. Downstairs, a shower room and WC ensure convenience. The heart of our home is the hall with an open fire and piano, leading to a Scandinavian-style lounge with another open fire and a formal dining area featuring a large mahogany table. Enjoy entertainment with Sky/Netflix/Amazon Prime & DVDs. Comfortable Accommodations for All: Ascend to the first floor, where three double bedrooms await, each simply and tastefully furnished to capture the essence of cottage living. One of these bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom for added luxury. There is also a jacuzzi bath in the family bathroom with colour changing lights and bubbles! Venture to the upper floor, where two attic bedrooms provide a charming retreat. The first attic bedroom offers a double bed and a gaming space with a PS pro and giant beanbags, while the second attic bedroom boasts twin beds and a quirky, low ceiling—mind your head! Outdoor Bliss and Games Galore: Our beautiful garden invites you to play lawn croquet, boules, and other outdoor games. The Jacuzzi hot tub and barrel sauna seating a maximum of 8, are tucked away in a private area adjacent to a spacious external dining patio with a gas BBQ. Gowns, towels and spare flip-flops provided. Experience alfresco dining like never before in our traditional Swedish log cabin—the Hobbit House. Inside, a fire, charcoal/wood BBQ, and cozy seating create the perfect atmosphere for toasting marshmallows or intimate gatherings. A great space for adults to spend a cosy evening socialising around the fire. Restaurant grade charcoal and logs all provided for your stay. Games Barn Extravaganza (Additional Fee): For those seeking extra entertainment, our recently refurbished Games Barn awaits. Generally available at an additional cost please enquire at time of booking. The Barn boasts a full size pool table which can be converted for dining. Bespoke truly Giant Scrabble board and range of other board games. 2 giant screens one downstairs and another in the upper Cinema room with games consul and range of blue ray DVD's to enjoy, as well as Sky, Amazon etc. The barn is also well catered for as an alternative exiting dinning option - a wood fired pizza oven! What a great way to have fun making your own Pizzas? the oven will be left ready to light but for you to build. Ample parking for 6-7 cars is available in the courtyard behind the house. Easy Access from London: Guests can easily reach us by train from London or elsewhere, disembarking at Market Harborough station, with Arthingworth just a short 15-minute taxi ride away. The large garden will be shared, but only with our cat -Puki, chickens, Silkie bantam's, rabbits and (not so small) pig (welly) in her pen. Parking in enclosed courtyard large enough for multiple cars. Other things to note Sadly we are not suitable for Guests with Pet Allergies. We have a friendly cat that stay in the annex but does occasionally wander into the house uninvited so we probably won't suit anyone with a cat allergy.
