As there is only one lodge, you have complete privacy and exclusivity in a wonderful wildlife habitat - no passing traffic or people. A variety of wildlife lives here in the surrounding woods and gardens. Lovely walks , the dramatic cliffs and wide sandy beaches of the North coast and the quiet coves of the South coast are easily accessible. We are Dog Friendly. The space Two steps from the gardens lead onto the veranda where you can eat alfresco and sit and watch the wildlife on and around the lake. The entrance door opens into an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay. Leading off this is the bedroom with with 4 Poster double bed and plenty of storage. The en suite shower room has hand basin, shower, and WC. Good heating in all rooms makes the Lodge very cosy. Sun loungers and a barbeque are located on the terrace, as is a small rowing boat on the lake, subject to season. This is a very special place, secluded but easily accessible, one on its own, ideally situated for easy access to both the North and South Cornish coasts with their wide sandy beaches, towering cliffs and quiet coves. Beautiful countryside, the Great Gardens of Cornwall, magnificent coastal scenery and first class tourist attractions are all around. Walking, golfing, lazing on beaches and swimming, riding, cycling, sailing, river and sea trips, fishing, visiting interesting towns, pretty villages historic sights and art galleries, whatever you want to do, it's all within easy reach of our property. Or simply chill out at Polgwedhen and enjoy exclusive use of the gardens and lakeside views! Guest access You will have the whole property and exclusive use of the extensive lakeside gardens, all to yourself! With no passing traffic and no intrusion, our guests enjoy privacy and relaxation. Other things to note This property is the only one here - some people think that this is a complex, but we would like our guests to know that this is not the case, and that they will have these glorious peaceful surroundings all to themselves. No passing traffic, no other people, no intrusion. We are dog friendly, up to two dogs welcome and fees apply (from £4.00 per night per dog).
