Description

Welcome to our cabin facing the sea, a beautiful way to discover typical Marseille! Located with other cabins in a small calanque close to amenities (shops), in the South of Marseille, you will enjoy the horizon, with your feet in the water! The cabin is comfortable while keeping the spirit and charm of the origins and the authentic character of a simple place, inhabited regularly by its owners. The space The cabin: Inside, you will enjoy 30 m2 with a high ceiling, and an open kitchen area. A real double bed downstairs, a real double mattress on the mezzanine will allow you to share the joys of beach life for families or friends. (Kitchenette, toilet and shower room complete the space). The cabin is thought out for your comfort and ours. Please respect the personal belongings you find there (including some foodstuffs booked in the fridge), and complete what you have consumed (charcoal). Outside, you will enjoy a beautiful private loggia that overlooks the courtyard - terrace that runs along the beach beyond a low low wall. An exceptional relationship with the sea, the beach and the sunsets facing the Château d 'If and the islands of Friuli! La calanque: On the edge of the city but isolated from road traffic, you forget Marseille with a view facing west. In season, the atmosphere is good-natured and popular, bringing family or friends together, it is a place of conviviality between cabins and beach users, the atmosphere is sometimes festive in the evening! Every hour has its atmosphere: the beach in the morning is rarely shared if not with fishermen and other nature lovers, from 10am the atmosphere becomes more family-friendly and friendly during the day, with some success in high season (but a little less than the other beaches of Marseille, because it is less known). The end of the day rings aperitifs and picnics on the sand, the evening prolongs them, sometimes with a party on the beach. Out of season it's the relationship to nature and the relationship to the cabana neighbors that take place, sometimes even you will feel at the end of the world on a wild island! ------. General cleaning is provided with rental. • Excessive cleaning (photos supported) will be charged 50 euros extra (to be paid directly to the concierge who takes care of your welcome / checkout) ------ To live your stay to the best of your ability, and to respect our small shed, please take into account the following comments and requests: > Sensitive meter: Electric power is limited. Do not use two high power electrical appliances at a time if not the meter jumps (in this case, use the step ladder to reset the counter to the top left of the entrance). > No sand inside please... be careful not to block the pipes: leave the shoes in the entrance, rinse bare feet with the foot bath, rinse after bathing with the water jet (always close the valve after use). > At night, or in your absence or at the time of departure: enclosed shed. Retract everything inside and pull / hang the rope between the 2 posts. Keep the shutter high open to ventilate and lock the two large shutters (blue doors). > Please do not smoke inside the shed and do not throw your cigarette butts outside: an ashtray is in the entrance. > At the beginning, please leave the shed in the state in which it was found: - Furniture, objects, books and cabinets (dishes, kitchen utensils) stored - Dishes done, barbecue emptied of ashes please - Empty fridge, except possibly products of first necessity - Discarded garbage bins (in the car park at the top, sorting possible) - Complete the charcoal used please (see grocery store above the car park). - Do not leave anything outside, hang the rope between the 2 posts Thank you for taking care of the cabin! We wish you a very happy stay!! Guest access Located by the sea, between the port of Pointe Rouge and the small port of the madrague, it is also at the gates of the Calanques massif. All for the joy of swimmers and walkers! It can be accessed from the city center by buses 19 and 19T. Those who are motorized can leave their car at a free parking available just above the beach. Finally, a river shuttle allows – from the port of Marseille to access Pointe Rouge (a 10-minute walk from the cabin). • Late check-in (after 9 p.m.) will be charged 20 euros extra • Check-out before 8am will be charged an additional €20 Other things to note Living in a creek is often a haven of peace, in direct contact with nature and the sea but with all the comforts, in a small traditional accommodation (cabin). This exceptional character is shared with the uses of public space, knowing that some of them can sometimes cause noise pollution.
