Other things to note LAKE SUTHERLAND CHALET RENTAL AGREEMENT DRIVEWAY AND PARKING: All wheel drive (or 4WD) is needed to park right at the house (the issue is getting back up, without tearing up the gravel). There's a parking spot half way down, before the steep section, about a hundred pace from the house, but it’s nice to be able to park right at the house. Happy to advise. EASEMENT: The lake front is shared by a handful of others via a walking easement. Though we very rarely see anyone, it's important for you to know about. It has never been an issue for our guests. PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS Payments are scheduled according to Airbnb's policy. In the event of an extreme emergency, we reserve the right to cancel any reservation, and would call you to explain the situation, and of course all of your payments would be refunded, with no further recourse. HOT-TUB/LAKE/CANOE/GENERAL DANGERS It is important to understand that there dangers associated with the use of the hot-tub, the lake, lake related activities including use of the canoe, and other features of this property. This warning statement is part of the rental agreement, and you agree to accept all risks associated with use of the property without limitation, and to hold harmless the property owners and management for any accidents, injuries, or complaints that may occur to you or a member of your party during your stay. It is the responsibility of the primary registered guest to inform anyone using these facilities during your stay of the conditions stated above, including the potential hazards and the need to exercise caution. Rental payment constitutes an understanding of these conditions and warnings, and acceptance of conditions and terms as stated above. Happy to advise. CHECKOUT We ask that you leave the chalet in the same general order as your arrival except for linens. Wash and put away dishes and cookware. There is a covered garbage can outside. Acknowledgment and acceptance of this Statement of Understandings and Agreements is indicated by your renting of the Chalet. An additional Liability Release document must be signed when you check in.
