The Old Stables is a stylishly-converted private, en suite room with its own sitting area and balcony in a peaceful, unique location on the river - a few minutes walk from the train station and the centre of historic Shrewsbury. We have free gated parking for up to two cars and secure bike storage. Our favourite walk is along The River Severn path to the English Bridge, up Wyle Cop with its amazing array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. A little further is the lovely Quarry Park The space Fall asleep to the sound of the River Severn weir. You have your own separate entrance and access, with a separate hallway leading to an en-suite room. Decorated and furnished in a bright, contemporary style with lots of natural light. There is a comfortable double bed and a modern en-suite bathroom with power shower. The house is a 10 minute walk or short cycle ride down the river path into the town centre or Quarry Park. Very close to the many restaurants and cafes - and the brilliant array of independent retailers. We welcome babies, but please bring a cot. You can plug in your electric vehicle - we have a power normal point in the garage - charged at cost. Guest access Guests have their own access to a private room with en-suite bathroom. Gated, locked parking for two cars. Other things to note We have a very small and friendly dog who will be in the garden occasionally.
