This wonderful lakefront home is the perfect escape into the serenity & beauty of Caddo Lake. It is conveniently located on Pine Island Pond, home to some of the best fishing & kayaking on the lake. It is a short 20 minute drive from both Marshall & historic Jefferson, TX. Come enjoy our porch, the beautiful surroundings, & relax to your heart's content in our lovely home! We would love to have you. The space Certain Grace Lakehouse offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with an extra sitting room containing bunk beds to comfortably sleep 8 people. The master bath features a jacuzzi tub to help you relax and unwind. The open floor plan is perfect for both family and corporate gatherings, with french doors the length of the home, giving you a spectacular view of the lake. The full-length screened porch is, of course, the favorite gathering place. Guest access For your convenience, we can offer the use of our elevator for luggage as well as those in need of mobility assistance, pending a signed release form. We have a private boat ramp and dock for your boat, as well as a lakefront fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows after a long day of enjoying the lake. Other things to note We invite you take advantage of all of the recreational activities that the lake and our house have to offer, however we will not be held responsible for any injuries and accidents that occur during your stay. Please use common sense, discretion, and provide adequate adult supervision to ensure everyone has a safe and pleasant stay. ***WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS/PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are found to have had a dog on the property, you will be fined at host's discretion for deep cleaning and damages. There are security cameras on the property and documentation is easily obtained. There are other properties on the lake that are pet friendly, but ours is not one of them. We strongly encourage you to book elsewhere instead if leaving your dog at home is not an option. We have allergic family members and are protecting the house for their benefit. ***Please be aware that this is a rural area and subject to occasional power outages. We have a generator to keep the necessities and main living spaces running for your convenience. Likewise, we have high speed internet, but are also subject to local inconsistencies beyond our control, so please be patient if this is the case during your stay. ***We do not allow wedding ceremonies, receptions, or large or raucous gatherings of any kind, without exceptions.*** If we receive reports of such events, complaints from neighbors, or there is damage or trash beyond expected levels, you will be fined at host's discretion. The canoe & kayaks in the garage are for personal, family use only. I can happily recommend wonderful businesses that offer rentals who drop off at the house. Ask for details!
