Guesthouse in Davis

Our home is within walking distance of an exciting, dynamic, world class university. If your business is at the University, you can park your car for the duration and walk everywhere. Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, the Shrem Museum of Art, the UCD Vet School, are all within walking distance. Parent/teenager college visit? Our suite will accomodate. Please be fully vaccinated. The space The studio is separated from our house by a redwood fence which provides maximum privacy. It has a queen bed with a good quality mattress. We believe it is the perfect combination of soft, yet firm comfort. (We tested many, many mattresses before pulling the trigger on our purchase). The bedding is all natural fibers, and the pillows are down. (Or non-down if you prefer.) The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, induction stove top, microwave, coffeemaker, and electric teapot for your use. There is an on site washer/dryer. The bathroom has a shower but no tub. We provide parking and bicycles if you need them. Guest access We enjoy having our lives filled with a great diversity of people from everywhere. Whether you’re enjoying a “staycation” from nearby or are traveling here from far, far away, we enthusiastically welcome you to our home and our city. No smoking of any type in our house or animal friends please. We have wifi. Parking is available in our driveway and the studio has a private, well lit, entry. Other things to note The Davis Saturday Farmers Market is filled with the bounty of California’s Central Valley, musicians, artists, crafters, and an array of international food to tantalize and tickle your taste buds. Wednesday night’s Picnic in the Park from mid-March through October is full of live music and good eats. The University of California, Davis is within walking (or biking) distance with all the features and events it has to offer.
