Garden barn in rural Suffolk village of Stansfield

Extremely comfortable garden barn in the rural village of Stansfield, with terrace and access to our large garden. WiFi, ethernet. Wood burner, central heating and plenty of hot water. Two well behaved dogs allowed by prior arrangement (£10/dog). Village pub and award winning pub in adjacent village of Hawkedon. Beautiful local walks and bike rides. Close to Clare, Long Melford, Bury St. Edmunds, Lavenham and Sudbury. 20 mins to Newmarket, easy access to Cambridge and 2 hrs from central London. The space Get away from it all in this comfortable, light and welcoming barn in the heart of the garden. Please be aware that the barn is adjacent to our house, however it is still very private (see photographs). Plenty of outside areas to sit in, with far reaching views across the surprisingly (for Suffolk!) hilly countryside. Access to the summer house and it’s furniture, along with the croquet set and other garden games. Feel free to wander around the meadow and garden. There is a wood-burning stove for which one basket of logs is supplied. The bed can be made up either as one super king size or twin singles. Travel cot and high chair available upon request. The travel cot will fit into the bedroom, but it is a bit of a squeeze! Excellent WiFi with ethernet and smart TV. Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. Washing machine and traditional airer for drying clothes. There is a BBQ outside, but please supply your own charcoal. Supplies for a basic breakfast will be left for you for your first morning, including milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams etc. Excellent local walks and bike rides and the 18 mile Bury St. Edmunds to Clare walk passes right by our property. Guest access You will have sole use of the barn during your stay with us. You are more than welcome to wander around the meadow and to use the summer house with its furniture and garden games. Please be aware, we live in the adjacent house, so you may find us in the garden as well, along with our two dogs. We have a travel cot and high chair available by prior arrangement. Please note that the cot will fit in the bedroom, but it is a bit of a squeeze! We have access to a local tennis court, but would need to know in advance if you would like to use it. Please supply your own tennis racquets and balls. Other things to note Unless requested, the bed will be made up as a super king. Please let me know in advance if you would like them made up as twin singles. A maximum of two well behaved dogs are allowed, at an additional cost of £10 per dog (there is an honesty tin in the barn). DOGS MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME IN THE BARN. Please be aware that we have two very friendly dogs who have unlimited access to the garden, although there is sheep fencing in front of the barn to stop them from popping in to say hello, as one of them is rather apt to beg for food! The sofa is very comfortable and great for relaxing on. As such, the design is slightly low, so some people might find it harder to get out of. If there is a real problem, I can put an armchair into the barn.
