Switch off at Our Place! Situated 150 meters walking distance from the foreshore in a quiet, leafy street, Our Place gives you the perfect opportunity to switch off. With a variety of spaces and fully fenced, Our Place is a very comfortable property to relax in. The space Our Place is your private space for your stay and is our holiday house that we use throughout the year. We have chosen to allow other people to experience the opportunity to switch off at Our Place. You will have the entire house, set in a quiet location in TCB. The property is fully fenced with ample parking on the property including a remote controlled single lock up garage for guest use. We have reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living area and main bedroom. Professional cleaners maintain the property to support a high level of hygiene. Our Place is situated a short stroll from the foreshore which makes it easy to organise your water activities and access the 4km boardwalk outlining the local bird life and plants. TCB is known to have at least 140 bird species. We encourage birds by providing a native Australian garden at the front, rainforest ambience at the back and bird baths. Sit back and enjoy the calm. Guest access You access the entire house and yard when you stay at Our Place. This includes the opportunity to relax in the backyard under our magnificent poinciana tree and listen to the many birds. There are no internal stairs. The front door is accessible via 2 steps from the driveway side. Other things to note TCB is known for bird watching and we value this past time. Not only do we have native plants that attract honeyeaters and other birds (Spangled Drongo, Double Barred Finch, Rainbow Bee Eaters to name a few), we also have a bird bath nestled amongst grevillea trees allowing you to watch birds come for a drink or have a bath. If you are lucky you will also see our visiting Lace Monitors. We value comfort and the ability to relax. Sheridan and hotel quality linen are provided for you. The side patio has a Weber Q and outdoor table setting, providing a second area to relax and unwind in privacy. Google chrome tv. If having access to wifi is extremely important to you, Our Place does not have this facility to help keep costs down. The local library, which is a few minutes walk, has free wifi access and printing facilities. We appreciate the busy-ness of life and what technology brings however, we have established Our Place as a switching off opportunity. If we do need to access the internet for work or personal use we access the internet via our mobile phones and if needed, tether to our laptops when we stay at Our Place. If you have a large boat, the incline of the driveway and the street camber, may make it difficult for the boat to go up the driveway. The street is quiet and wide and since the town is known for fishing, parking your boat on the road does not concern anyone. Our cleaning fees have been determined by the cleaner who services the property.
