Villa with panoramic views, private pool & garden.

Our comfortable well equipped 3-bedroom home with private pool is set in half an acre of wooded and terraced private mature gardens just outside the beautiful medieval village of Montauroux. It is a traditional Provencal villa with cool and airy rooms. It has stunning views across a valley towards the Esterel hills from all rooms, the balcony, terrace, garden and pool area. Local beauty-spot Lac St Cassien, a huge lake offering a variety of watersports, is within 5 minutes drive. The space Having spent many family holidays in the South of France we eventually 'took the plunge' and bought our villa nearly 20 years ago. We fell in love with it immediately and love every minute we spend there. Though new to Airbnb in 2019 we have been welcoming guests for 17 years with many 5 star reviews and returning guests. Because of travel restrictions due to covid we were unable to rent our villa in 2020 and 2021. Our villa is ideal for those who just want to relax by the pool and those who want to combine this with visits to the glorious countryside, beautiful villages or the beaches of the Riviera and towns such as Cannes and Nice. The two double-bed bedrooms and the living room open directly onto the balcony from which the wonderful views can be enjoyed. Especially magical is watching the sun rise over the Esterel hills! The third bedroom is upstairs, and has two single beds and an en-suite washroom and also a lovely view. The modern well-equipped kitchen is on the ground floor level and looks out on to a sunny terrace. The washing machine is in a separate utility room. The living room is large and airy with French doors to the balcony and terrace. There is a TV, DVD player, radio, a good selection of books and board games. Should it be cooler you can enjoy meals in the dining area or conservatory. You can enjoy alfresco meals on sunny terraces or under a covered area by the pool where there is a gas barbecue and a fridge. The pool is 10m x 5m and has wide semi-circular steps at the shallow end for less confident swimmers. It is fitted with an alarm to comply with French law. There are plenty of loungers, chairs and parasols. We also have a boule pitch - a game for all the family to enjoy! The mature garden and surrounding hillside have an abundance of native oak trees, ornamental palm trees, shrubs, lavender, and a variety of herbs and flowering plants. The wooded area at the bottom of the garden is sloped and can be accessed by a path. Because of steep paths and steps unfortunately our villa is not suitable for children under 7 or those with limited mobility.
