This house is in a very private location and has the most amazing views: only 2 km to the beach. The Cottage has an open plan kitchen/living room with a double sofa bed, separate large bedroom and bathroom with shower. Maroni village is a great escape from the ordinary holiday in the big resort. 8m x 4m Swimming Pool has been newly built early 2018. Yoga and pilates classes take place on the terrace next door during the Summer, in the Winter electricity is an additional separate cost. The space This is the second house of two on the same plot of land, I live in the larger of the two properties and I am always available to help you with any queries. The properties are next to each other but are very private and each have their own entrance. Maroni is a traditional Cypriot village with a lot of original stone buildings and plenty of character. In the nearby village Zygi you can enjoy fresh fish by the New Marina and in Chirokitia and Kalavassos you can see the archaeological sites. Beautiful nature walks and only 2 km from the beach. Due to the quiet rural setting of the cottage you shall need a car or bicycle when staying in Maroni. To use the fireplace you must buy your own wood which is available at most local shops. All towels and bed linen are provided. There is also a local Tavern (restaurant) called The Golden Lemon tree and they have a swimming pool that is for the public as long as you buy a drink. The food there is also amazing, it is a family run restaurant serving mainly fresh fish/seafood. There is also amazing fish taverns in Zygi marina which is only 3 km away from the house, Hercules is a very nice restaurant in Zygi. In the nearby village Kalavassos in the square visit The Retro Tavern for great food and ambiance.
