Croeso - Welcome This is a cosy and neat holiday cottage in Blaenau-Ffestiniog, within walking distance to Zip World, Bounce Below and Llechwedd slate caverns. Blaenau-Ffestiniog is ideally located to explore Snowdonia National park. Approx. 10 miles to great beaches (Porthmadog, Harlech) and other picturesque towns such as Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Catch the historic Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog or explore Portmeirion village. The space The 3 bedroom cottage is situated over 3 floors and has a rear private parking area and garden overlooking Blaenau Ffestiniog's stunning valley and historic slate hills which have an UNESCO Heritage Status. The cottage has an open plan living room and dining area. The kitchen has cooker, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tea/toaster facilities. The living area has a recently fitted log burner, a comfortable 4 seater sofa & 2 seater sofa along with table and chairs. Also Smart 43 inch Television with Free-sat and other Apps. Upstairs there is a good sized double bedroom with storage and a second bedroom with a bunked bed suitable for adults and children. The family bathroom is situated on the same level which has a bath and shower facilities. On the second level is the 3rd bedroom which has plenty of room and has two single beds. Access to the rear garden is through the rear door situated in the kitchen. Garden has a seating area along with a solid wooden bench and rotary clothes line. Also plenty of space to enjoy the scenic views. The property benefits from high speed fibre internet/Wi-Fi, plus there is a very good mobile phone signal and data available on most networks. The entire cottage is well insulated and has gas central heating, which along with the log burner makes it a very warm cottage. The cottage is positioned close to the town centre and local amenities. Zip-world and Llechwedd Slate Caverns are a 15 minute walk away. Parking is available on the street at the front of the property, but private parking at the rear of the cottage is available if required. The rear garden/parking area overlooks some beautiful scenery including Blaenau Ffestiniog's UNESCO slate hills, and opens onto wonderful walks which are right on the doorstep. There is a small seating area at the rear. The cottage comes with freshly made beds and laundered towels. Tea, coffee, sugar, Salt, Pepper and Olive Oil are included as are some fire wood to get the log burner going. Washing up liquid, dish cloths, tea towels and a few other starter basics are also included.
