Luxury cottage with hot tub in a tranquil setting

Betton Cottage is a spacious first floor apartment in the grounds of Betton House, a Grade 2 listed Georgian house. Breakfast is provided. Featuring high ceilings and gorgeous period features.The flat is accessed by fairly steep stairs so is not suitable for guests who are unable to climb stairs. The space The beds in the bedrooms can be either superkings or twin beds providing flexible sleeping arrangements for couples or friends. The hot tub is for the sole use of Betton Cottage. Open the door and walk through the yard to the extensive gardens and into the undulating English countryside, where you’ll enjoy refreshing walks through the Shropshire landscape, feeling a million miles from the busyness of life. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens where you will find loads of different seating areas where one can sit to watch birds as well as the rare breed cows and calves. There are several fire pits in the gardens which guests are invited to use ( logs provided free of charge)and rugs provided for colder evenings. The Shropshire Union Canal is nearby, and the area boasts many foot paths and rights of way for good walking. The cottage heating and hot water are generated using ground source energy, promoting a more environmentally friendly stay. The washing machine is in a separate building and is a shared facility (hand sanitiser is on top of machine ) We ask for it not to be used in the evenings so not to disturb other guests. Guest access Steep stairs from the yard lead up to Betton cottage but once inside the cottage is all on one level. The kitchen table comfortably sits six and we can provide more chairs if needed. For large groups, guests are invited to book this property in addition to Groom's Cottage and Bothy Cottage(also listed on Airbnb) for an extra bedrooms. Please do explore the garden taking care as some paths could be slippery. Other things to note The cottage is extremely quiet so a great place to unwind and at night one can hear the barn owls in the surrounding woods, a real treat. However Betton is a farm and its extensive gardens do need to be worked on so there can be the purr of a lawnmower and now and again the tractor when we need to feed the rare breed cattle.
